"Gone, Gone, Gone" - Phillip Phillips

So obsessed with this song right now. Phillip Phillip's performed this on American Idol last week, and I think it's the song they've been playing when someone gets voted off. Phillip Phillip's is my favorite Idol winner of all time. Who is yours?? Tell me in the comments below... I just found out that he is going on tour with John Mayer. What a dream line-up. The closest show to me is in Charlotte, NC and I would LOVE to go. Anyways, here's the music video for this song:

CLEAR Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy Review

BzzAgent sent me two products from CLEAR's Damage & Color Repair hair care line to try - the Deep Nourishing Treatment Mask and the 7 Day Intensive Treatment Tubes. Even though I don't think my hair is particularly damaged (I do not color it or even heat style it that often.), I was super excited to try them out!! I hadn't heard of the CLEAR brand until now, so it wasn't very likely that I would go out and try these products on my own. Here are the products I received:

DEEP NOURISHING TREATMENT MASK

Nourishes the scalp deeply and helps protect hair against damage with a dual-action formulation – a white stripe of nourishing treatment and a pink stripe infused with concentrated Nutrium 10™, a rich blend of vitamins and nutrients. Provides up to 95% more damage resistant hair in only 3 minutes*. To use, apply to scalp and hair and leave in for three minutes then rinse. For best results, use at least once a week. *less breakage when combing vs. non-conditioning shampoo

7 DAY INTENSIVE TREATMENT TUBES

Formulated with Nutrium 10™ Essence, a concentrated blend of vitamins and nutrients including vitamins B5, C & E, sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils and aloe vera, each treatment tube deeply nourishes the scalp and provides hair with a powerful dose of intensive damage repair. To use, gently massage one tube into scalp and hair daily for 7 days. Leave in for three to five minutes and rinse. For best results, use the 7 Day Intensive Treatment Tubes one time per month, or anytime hair is in need of intensive damage repair.

First Impressions: When I was first invited to join this BzzCampaign, I wondered why a hair care line would be called "CLEAR." I like having clear skin, but clear hair?? I think that is a really weird choice for a name. When I received my BzzKit in the mail, the first thing I noticed was the strong scent that hit me as soon as I opened the package. None of the products had been opened yet, and they weren't leaking either! I don't hate the scent (It smells similar to other drugstore hair products.), but I think the scent is way too overpowering. Fragrance as well as some other not so great ingredients can be found in both products. So... if you only like to use organic or natural beauty products, I would advise you to look elsewhere.

I LOVE that...

• I received lots of compliments about how much better my hair looked.
• My hair feels softer and looks shinier (just like silk).
• These products seem to do what they claim... reverse damage.
• Using these products doesn't add a lot more time to my shower routine.
• The products are inexpensive, and you can find them at most drugstores.

I HATE that...

• The instructions on how to use the products are vague.
• The scent is too strong. Less is more!!
• The products were difficult to rinse out of my hair.
• The ingredients could possibly be irritating or harmful.

Although the products are different, they both did similar things to my hair. It was a little difficult for me to tell whether the great results I got were from the mask or from the tubes, because I tried them out so close together. The mask retails for about $5 and the treatment tubes retail for about $15, depending on where you buy them. I think that is a super good deal! Would I repurchase????? I will most likely buy the mask once I run out, because it did amazing things to my hair. But only if I can get over the scent. (I have it sitting next to me right now, and I feel a headache coming on. I am not normally sensitive to fragrances either.) I would consider repurchasing the tubes if I started coloring or styling my hair more often. I am in my late 20's and the gray hairs are starting to appear :-/ Right now, I just don't have a need for any intense hair repair.

Overall, I give the products a 4/5.
